Prep time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Total time: 20 minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 egg yolks

  • 100g Parmesan cheese

  • 180g Spaghetti

  • 1tsp of pepper

  • 5 strips of smoked bacon

  1. Start by boiling your water in a pan and season the water with salt.

  2. Whilst your water is boiling. Prepare your eggs. Separate your eggs so you only have the yolks and combine them together in a bowl.

  3. Add in your parmesan cheese and pepper and continue to combine everything.

  4. Once everything is mixed, set aside and start heat up your pan and once hot add in your oil. Now check you water if it boiled add in your spaghetti and cook until al dente.

  5. Cut up your bacon into small pieces. Then put it into the pan and cut until nice and crispy.

  6. Now this is the important! Once your spaghetti is cooked, drain. Set aside for a moment and remove your pan with the bacon in it off the heat! The heat from the spaghetti will cream up your eggs. If you add in your eggs whilst your bacon is still cooking it will turn into scramble eggs.

  7. So once the pan is off the heat. Add in your spaghetti, stir it round so it picks up all of the lovely juices from the bacon.

  8. Add in your egg mixture and mix everything together until you can see your egg mixture become all creamy and now you are ready to serve it up!!
