Spaghetti Bolognese

A classic dish with a little twist! My grandma showed me this secret ingredient which adds a lovely sweet kick to the dish.
This is such an easy recipe to follow. It is always my go to whenever I can't think of anything to do for dinner.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Total time: 55 minutes
Serves 3
Ingredients
375g 5% mince
225g spaghetti
2 medium carrots
1 medium onion
2 celery sticks
1 can chopped tomatoes
2 beef oxo cubes, 350ml
1 tsp garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp basil
1 tsp salt and pepper
2 tbsp sweet chilli
1 tbsp oil
Heat up a pan and once it is hot, add in the oil.
Saute the diced onion, carrots, garlic paste and celery for a few minutes.
Once fragrant add in the mince, season with salt and pepper and cook until the juices evaporate.
Add in the chopped tomatoes and the stock.
Give everything a good stir and season with basil and sweet chilli.
Simmer for 45 minutes.
Serve with spaghetti and enjoy!
