A delicious dish and of course a favourite of mine when I was growing up! I use to make these ribs in the oven and then I decided to make them in a slow cooker for one time to see how they turned out and... It changed my life! These ribs are so soft they fall off the bone.

Serve 2-3

Pre time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 4 hours

Total time: 4hr 15m

You will need a slow cooker. You can cook on a high for 4 hours or a low for 8 hours.

Ingredients

  • 2 rack of pork ribs

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 2 tbsp honey

For the sauce:

  • 500g BBQ sauce

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp oregano

  • 1 tbsp mild chilli power

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce together.

  2. Afterwards take the membrane off the ribs and season both sides.

  3. Place in the slow cooker and brush the honey on top of the ribs.

  4. Pour the sauce evenly on both ribs and then leave to cook for either 8 hours (low) or 4 hours (high).

  5. Serve with wedges or chips. Spoon the remanding sauce over the top of the ribs and enjoy!
