Garlic and Lemon Hummus

The perfect side dish and dip to have with breadsticks or crackers!


Prep time: 5 minutes

Cooking time 5 minutes

Total time: 10 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas

  • 1 large lemon

  • 1/4 cup well-stirred tahini

  • 2 small garlic clove, minced

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt



  1. In a food processor combine your lemon and tahini.

  2. Drain the chickpeas and then add them into the food processor along with the olive oil. Scrap the sides so everything can blend. (Depending how big your processor is, add half, blend then add the rest).

  3. Add in you minced garlic.

  4. Continue to blend everything together and if it becomes to thick simply add in 1 tbsp of water to reduce the thickness.

  5. Season with salt to your taste and serve!
